En este tercer libro de la serie CALACAS, la autora española Julie Sopetrán nos entrega un poemario-ofrenda surgido de su experiencia, de sus vivencias al recorrer algunos cementerios de México, y nos ofrece testimonios ancestrales. Sus poemas son flores que brotan y se desprenden de las imágenes de la fotógrafa y periodista ecuatoriana-estadounidense Mary Andrade, acompañadas por ilustraciones de la artista española Mónica Pereiro, basadas en las creaciones de la artesana Lourdes Mesonero.
