Burkes Double Down
Description
Bullets, Bombs, Mayhem, and More Fun! It's Vegas, baby, and the new Bob Burke action thriller #8. When a young girl is brutally kidnapped, there are three people her Las Vegas casino mogul father calls for help: the head of the FBI, the hatchet man for Brooklyn Mob, and Bob Burke.
With the Merry Men at his side, a .50-caliber Barrett sniper rifle in his hand, and the Geeks on their computers, he's coming to get her. Then, he's coming to get them.
Mild-mannered and slight of build, this telecommunications company executive is often dismissed as the "telephone guy." But after five combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, this former Army Ranger and Delta Force commander is one of the most lethal killers the US Government has ever produced.
From the glitz and glitter of The Vegas Strip to nuclear test sites in the rugged Mojave Desert, no one can be trusted. But if you kidnap a helpless young girl or hurt one of his friends, whether that's in Chicago, Moscow, Armenia, or Las Vegas, the Ghost will find you. When he does, he will double down, and payback will be a bitch!
Looking for a good beach book or something to curl up with in front of the fire, this fast-moving action-adventure thriller is #8 in the series from the author of Burke's War, Burke's Gamble, Burke's Revenge, Burke's Samovar, Burke's Mandarin, Burke's Rescue, Burke's Machete, and now Burke's Double Down. They were preceded by The Undertaker, Amongst My Enemies, Thursday at Noon, Winner Lose All, and Aim True, My Brothers, as well as his Our Vietnam War series, Volumes 1-4, with interviews and photos from 240 American and allied Veterans. Together, these books have over 1,000 Kindle 5-Star Reviews. Enjoy!
