The year is 1975, and Breanne Warner has just moved to the sleepy village of Ballycinn in the Wexford countryside, something the fifteen-year-old is not happy about. But when the pair start to explore the ruins on the outskirts of Ballycinn, something is triggered in Breanne. A series of visions: A white dress. The sound of clapping. A girl's scream. A hooded figure. Something strange is happening to Breanne, and it has something to do with a murder from over fifty years ago, a murder that relates directly to her past.
Thus begins an adventure into the Ballycinn of old, risking the fury of an ancient community hidden within the Irish mountains, dedicated to ensuring the sanctity of time. As Breanne discovers more ancient secrets, and a mysterious force moves against her, she is faced with both wonder and danger beyond her wildest imagination.
