Since writing two previous joke books several persons have asked me to create some new jokes. There was some reluctance about providing new material as I have seen my work being used at Comedy shows and in plays without any recognition of me being the creator/author.It is frustrating to attend a show, see your work being performed with the performers being paid, and you the author of the work not receiving any monetary benefit.After much consideration and in the interest of making a sad face smile or a bored person laugh I decided to proceed. However, I have planned to police, taped recordings put out by artistes and where there is an infringement of my copyright, I will be using all legal options available to me, to seek compensation and if possible exemplary damages.As a reader I urge you to respect my creativity and enjoy the laughs provided.I know you will be tempted but please do me the favour of not putting these jokes in e-mails and sending them on the Internet.
