Because You Are Mine
Description
Because a pet is more than a companion; they're part of the family.
Unconditional love. Companionship. Purpose. Adventure. Our pets give us the greatest gifts we could imagine and trust us with their lives and their hearts. Because You Were Mine is a meaningful guided journal that invites pet owners and anyone with a special animal in their life to chronicle your journey together. Whether your best friend has fur, swims in a tank, eats crickets for breakfast, or lives in the barn out back-you can celebrate all of the joy they've brought to your life.
With over 300 thoughtful prompts crafted by bestselling author Jeffrey Mason, this journal helps you document your favorite memories of your pet-from quiet moments of rest together, to the great adventures you'll never forget.
Why pet parents will treasure this journal:
Prompts that celebrate their life and love: From the moment they joined the family to the day you say goodbye, this journal will help to treasure every special memory.
A thoughtful and timeless gift to share: Gift this journal to a pet owner in your life-because nothing is better than when someone validates the love for a pet!
Crafted with love: From the Hear Your Story team, inspired by our founder's mission to preserve his father's memory and legacy.
Hear Your Story was founded as a heartfelt response by our founder to losing his father to Alzheimer's. Our journals are a commitment to safeguarding family legacies and a testament to the belief that every life is a story worth telling and preserving.
Designed to be cherished forever, Because You Were Mine is more than a journal-it's your way of saying "thank you" and "I'll always remember" to the pet who will always have your heart.

Processing times
- In stock: Items marked “In Stock” are on our shelves. We pick, pack and ship them within 1–2 business days.
- In stock with our supplier: Items not marked “In Stock” are held by one of our Australian or overseas suppliers. We order them in for you and they usually dispatch within 2–5 business days (3–5 for some suppliers). The estimate next to the price is for this item.

- Supplier delays: Occasionally a supplier is delayed, or their stock information turns out to be inaccurate. We’ll keep your order open for up to 60 days. If an item hasn’t shipped or isn’t on its way to us by then, we’ll cancel that item and refund it.
How accurate is availability?
Availability is based on the stock levels our suppliers tell us they hold, and we update it regularly. If a supplier issue affects your order, we’ll let you know with an updated estimate.

- Australia Post usually delivers within 2–10 business days of shipping (around 4 in metro areas and around 6 in regional areas).
