Beautiful Reject offers a specific ten-step guide for women to overcome the darkness of rejection. She battled depression for years until she discovered the path to recovery. Her expressive transient recall of toxic relationships, breakthroughs in therapy, and recovery will inspire the broken and inform the unaware. 

Candalada is the founder of Hair Therapy, a beauty consulting company.  She is a former instructor of Business Communication at Shenandoah University's School of Business and has more than ten years of digital media experience. She obtained her Bachelor's in Mass Communication, concentration in Media Studies, minor in Business Administration at Shenandoah University. She attended Trinity Washington University for a Master's in Mass Communications, concentration in Political Rhetoric.

Candalada has been recognized by former President Barack Obama for her volunteer work. She was raised in Brooklyn, New York, and born to parents from Guyana, South America. Candalada lives in Northern Virginia with her son.
