"Batalla Negra: poesía reivindicativa de un "Negro", es un llanto de todo un continente, y no solamente de un autor. Las nuevas generaciones en África desean coger un nuevo rumbo, donde no habrá complejos ni intimidaciones, sino cooperación franca y de ganancia mutua. Mientras los otros envejecen, nosotros crecemos, pero de qué sirve tanta energía juvenil si la malgastamos como simples cadáveres en el océano e indocumentados en Europa: encarcelados al aire libre, sin poder movernos ni trabajar dignamente. Las soluciones no vendrán del exterior, sino de dentro. La poesía no solamente se debe de usar para alegrar el alma, también gritar, y si hace falta, gritar como el loco para ser escuchado. Eso es lo que intenta ésta obra poética. Eso sí, no como un rechazo al otro, sino un llamamiento a los propios para que se despierten antes de que pase el último tren que lleva a la dignidad y al progreso.
