Post Pandemic Chaos
The pandemic is all but over in this country.
While in India and Brazil it is still rife and deadly
We are catching up where we left off.
The dentists and doctors are paying attention to the backlog.
Of people who have had to get on by themselves
Accident and Emergency is still full in Bolton.
There are lots of unemployed people and not as many jobs.
The potholes in the roads need attention again.
The shops that are left have been able to open at last.
And we are all emerging from our houses shell-shocked
Wondering what the hell to do and how to get on.
People want to turn on the police and the government.
Because they feel hard-done-to and want someone to blame
We need to create jobs and kickstart the economy.
Get back on our feet and claw back the deficit we have created.
There needs to be employment and order to end the post-pandemic chaos.
