Hilmar Reusch analysiert, inwieweit und in welcher Form Positionen des „Neuen Realismus" - dargestellt anhand von Thilo Sarazzins „Deutschland schafft sich ab" - in den Multikulturalismusdiskurs am Beispiel des Frankfurter Amtes für multikulturelle Angelegenheiten (AmkA) eingehen. Im Fokus liegen zeitgemäße Ausschlusspraktiken, respektive Alltagsrassismus. Zu diesem Zweck entwickelt Reusch auf der Basis der Diskurstheorie von Habermas sowie Taylors und Honneths Diskussionen um „Anerkennung" einen Fragekatalog, mit dem er die zentralen Texte Sarrazins und des AmkA durchleuchtet.
