Jazzming David's life has been mapped out for her by her parents. She loves and adores her father, whom she wants to please, so medical school is in her future. However, when her mother dies, Jazzming meets Jay and her life is never the same. 

Jonathan (Jay) Dennison meets beautiful Jazzming just as he is about to begin his second year of law school. The rhythm of his future changes as she becomes embedded in his heart and soul.

Yet it isn't until Jazzming takes life into her own hands, and Jay lets go of his pride and arrogance, that they can forge ahead toward the future.

Author Bio: Connie Lawrence began her writing career after spending several years as a Human Resources professional. She was born in Runaway Bay, a small town on the North Coast of Jamaica in the parish of St. Ann, attended Ferncourt High School in Claremont, St. Ann and earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Management from The University College of the West Indies, Mona Campus and a graduate degree in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University. She currently resides in South Florida where she is busy working on her second novel.
