Zwar verlor die inhabergeführte Drogerie wegen der Errichtung von Drogeriemarktketten an Bedeutung. Dennoch hat die Konkurrenz zwischen Apotheke und Drogerie aufgrund des Vorstoßes einer Drogeriemarktkette Rezeptsammelstellen einzurichten zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts nichts an Brisanz eingebüßt.
