Adina

Set in ancient Israel during New Testament Biblical times, Adina is an extraordinarily powerful fiction story based on the Woman who was caught in adultery and brought before Jesus to be stoned. Young Adina was raised as a God-fearing Jewish girl. She is in love with her lifelong sweetheart Yeichiel and hopes they will soon marry and have the life together they always dreamed of.  Good hearted yet wayward Yeichiel is madly in love with Adina and will stop at nothing to impress her father and win her hand in marriage. Her father is convinced that Yeichiel will never be good enough for his youngest daughter.  Driven by greed her father underhandedly arranges for her to be married to rich and powerful Eleazar, against her will.
