In the Biblical words from Ecclesiastes, "to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose..." Poetry reaches into the corners of our conscious and unconscious mind, tickling something almost inexpressible, expanding our view of what is possible in a war worn, weary and often cynical world. Here's to poetry and to the poets represented in this volume! May our world be better, in even a small way, because of it!
