A Time Before is a fantasy novel, about a heroine forced to follow a destiny. Our heroine is Princess Harmony of Salea, she will one day rule the most powerful kingdom in all the lands. The story follows Harmony as she is sent on an educational journey throughout the lands. Harmony's father sends her on this journey to keep her safe in hopes she will not have to live out her destiny, unbeknown to him he sends her straight in to the storm. On her travels she face many challenges. She must twist her way through nobles political games, all the while she skillful hides the secrets of her families past. Harmony is closely watched by the High Priestess of Lilia. Lilia being the main goddess of the lands. The High Priestess is the one that is trying to keep Harmony on the path that is chosen for her. Harmony knows the path she has to take, and enjoys defying the will of her elders, especially the High Priestess. So follow Harmony through her adventure as she dodges not only her destiny, but the ones forcing her to follow it.
