Author, Rich Jensen, came to trust in Christ later than most. Realizing his lack of Biblical knowledge, he felt led to write a book which would give anyone basic knowledge of Scripture. That idea took a back seat while he began writing devotionals which became the basis of his first book of devotionals, "WOW Weekly". After some years, he developed what would be the right format and content for "A Primer for New Christians". His hope is that it would foment a deep desire on one's part to continue studying Scripture.
