New York artist, Vito Giallo, turned one of the best antique dealers sold to the who's who of New York City- think Elton John, Andre Leon Talley, Greta Garbo, Robert Mapplethorpe, Franz Kilne, Mark Rothko (to name a few) and of course a daily cus- tomer of his, Andy Warhol. He was Warhol's first apprentice and first to give Warhol a show in 1954. Vito's passion for antiques and their stories lead him to open up a little shop on Madison Ave across the Carlyle Hotel that brought in every artist, actor, politician, doctor, writer in.
