本書給那些像筆者一樣，苦苦地尋找基督信仰根源的同道們，提供了一個明確和清晰的答案。眾所周知，要找答案，必須從根源開始，否則都是瞎子摸象。縱觀將近二千年的基督宗教歷史，結合現今我們所傳遞的基督教的資訊。無法明白我們所信的神，究竟是哪一位？大家知道，每個宗教都有他們的神，信仰也是一樣。既然無法明白我們所信的神，那我們豈不成了瞎子嗎？這樣的宗教或信仰，代代相傳，是不是瞎子領瞎子！
筆者為什麼要寫本書呢？是為了耶穌基督的生命之道被世人接受，使人同得福音的好處。本書將猶太教的神、天主教的神、基督新教的神，以及他們與基督信仰的關係，將這些錯綜複雜的問題，簡單淺顯地述說出來，使讀者能明白。
芮賢海，中國家庭教會資深傳道人。一九五三年出生在溫州市一個沿海的小城鎮，一九七二年信耶穌，一九七四年傳道至今，足跡踏遍中國的大江南北。二○○九年出版了《神揀選的是誰》，二○一六年起陸續出版了繁體中文、簡體中文《基督徒與律法》、《生命》與《道》，二○一九年出版《五旬節聖靈與保惠師聖靈的區別》，二○二○年出版《宗教和信仰的區別》、《耶穌是誰？》，二○二三年出版繁體中文、簡體中文《耶和華是誰？》。
