《梅花易数》乃千年秘传的占卜奇书，是中华易学宝库中一颗璀璨的明珠，相传系北宋哲学家、易学家邵雍（邵康节）所著。该书前三卷乃梅花数占法的开山宝典，后两卷亦为相字术的早期经典。该书由于长期在民间秘传手抄，故而存在不少错讹缺漏及混乱不通之处。由于过分强调秘不外传，故而宋代以降流传极少，迨至近代近乎失传。学者郭南山先生（网络昵称东郭先生gns），以深厚的易学和语言功底，严谨的治学态度，对《梅花易数》做了认真校订和适当注释、解释。（全书都有注释，但只有前三卷梅花数部分各章有解释。
校订以民国时期上海广益书局出版的《校正梅花易数》为底本，全部经过逐字逐句核对。校订后的《梅花易数》原文，既忠实于古本，而又消除了其中的错讹缺漏及混乱不通之处。注释、解释则全面破解了梅花数占法的秘诀、秘术和24个神奇占例，定名为《古本注解梅花易数》。全书深入浅出，通俗易懂，语言流畅，可读性强，是值得广大易学爱好者信赖、学习、珍藏的术数精品。康节邵先生等先师先贤在天有知，必当宽慰且嘉许矣！
