《日晷》僅僅只是一個開端，漫漫長夜，在當下的後極權意識形態的天空下，這部反極權小說是難以通過出版審查制度正式出版的。這也許正是作家東亞的榮耀，因為他面向的是未來。
[1] 壓力團體是指通過精神壓力迫使個體放棄個人意願以和團體其他人員取得一致意見的團體。它利用團體成員對歸屬感和交往的需求，使個體擔心自己受到孤立、排斥和唾棄，從而實現團體意見的統一。團體壓力過程由美國心理學家哈羅德·萊維特於1972年提出，他認為團體壓力過程分四個階段：理性階段、情感引導段、直接攻擊階段和開除背離者階段
