郑伯农，1937年生，福建长乐人。1951年进入中央音乐学院附属中学，1962年毕业于中央音乐学院音乐学系。历任中央音乐学院教师、中央戏剧学院兼职教师，文化部政策研究室干部，中国文联研究室理论组组长、研究室负责人，《文艺理论与批评》常务副主编，中国作家协会党组成员、《文艺报》总编辑，中国作家协会全国委员会委员、名誉委员，中国社会主义文艺学会会长、名誉会长，中华诗词学会常务副会长、代会长、名誉会长，《中华诗词》主编。1958年开始发表文章，部分作品被翻译到国外。著 有《郑伯农文选》四卷（含文论，诗词，诗论）等。曾做过"五个一工程"奖、国家图书奖、茅盾文学奖、鲁迅文学奖、电视剧"飞天奖"、电视文艺"星光奖"、华夏诗词奖、刘征青年诗人奖等全国性文艺奖项评委及国家社会科学基金评审委员会成员。
