Why Did God Make Sunshine ?

Why Did God Make Sunshine? approaches creation from a biblical perspective. Written for parents or grandparents to read to their children or grandchildren, in this book, Author Robert Burnley focuses on helping families discover the spiritual meaning of creation hidden in plain sight in our physical world. Readers and their children are invited to journey with Jonathan and his family as they explore their seaside farm, their neighbors, and the community around them-a trip to the zoo and an observatory keeps children's attention on the story. Along the way, they discover the meaning of the rainbow, what the sun, moon, and stars teach us about Jesus, His church, and angels, how big mountains can be moved with only a little faith, and much more. Children also learn the meaning of mercy and grace in simple yet memorable ways. This book creates space for children to experience God and scripture through their surroundings alongside their families. Why Did God make Sunshine? is a great tool for families to enjoy time together as they grow in faith knowledge and spiritual experience. After reading, families and children will be on the lookout for God's glory in the world around them. Readers, make sure to scan through the book prior to reading to children, and ask God to bless your child as you read to them. Sunday school lessons are also available. Unju Jon does a great job of illustrating the Bible verses for people of every age.
