The politics of memory in socialist China

China has survived the difficult years of the Cultural Revolution, the 'Maoist' experiment, today Chinese society, Chinese civilisation and the state understand that a new era is coming - the Asian century. In this context, increasingly new political solutions are being actualised to transform Chinese society to meet the demands of the times. Fundamental to this process is the modern concept of memory politics, which helps to shape the collective memory of the nation.
