Are they already reading proficiently but struggling with comprehension? Are you looking for level appropriate stories for your fourth grader to read? Are you tired of constantly searching for new books from the library or bookstore?
As a parent, finding new and engaging books your young reader likes can be challenging. Especially for older kids who don't enjoy reading. It requires constant trips to the bookstore or library, or repeatedly reading reviews online.
The Fourth Grade Reader is designed for elementary readers and mid-grade readers ages 9-11. The collection includes 12 unique stories of magic, family, nature, adventure and more!
This collection focuses on age-appropriate social-emotional skills, promotes problem-solving and critical thinking, and engages your child's imagination.
- Each short story is divided into "chapters" that mimic longer chapter books.
- The stories use fourth-grade level sight words and easy to decipher new words along with some more challenging new words.
- The stories can be read in any order!
- The stories cover a wide range of demographics and family types and are relatable to kids today!
- At the front of the book, adults and readers will find questions and prompts to promote reading comprehension.
- Each story includes specific reading comprehension and thought-provoking questions for your child.
In addition to language and literacy skills, listening to stories develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and comprehension skills and promotes the ability to recall and repeat information and details.
The wide range of stories included in the book ensures every child will find characters and tales that represent them and allow them to meet new people and learn about new cultures, animals, and places!
The Fourth Grade Reader will thrill and captivate you from beginning to end.
