The Ocean: A Realm of Endless Metaphors

Vast, boundless, immeasurable, eternal, tranquil and turbulent, powerful, transparent, profound, deep, mysterious-no matter how many adjectives we use to describe the earth's largest expanse, they simply fall short. This ocean, constantly forging new metaphors, stirs the hearts of all who encounter it. Encompassing the very genesis of creation, the sea remains an enigma to us even today.

 A Deep Connection to the Sea

Having grown up by the sea, its myriad forms have profoundly impacted me. I believe the ocean embodies every human emotion. At times it's as playful as a child, at others as serious as an elder; sometimes it's imbued with a mother's affection, and at other times it witnesses the unions and separations of lovers. I've woven these very emotions of the ocean into my poems, giving them expression through words.
