First published in 1915, this book presents a selection of poems written by 'the Old Teutonic Peoples'. The text is divided into two main sections containing 'Runic Poems' and 'Heroic Poems'. The majority of the poems are of Anglo-Saxon derivation, but there are also Norwegian, Icelandic and Old High German inclusions.
