Prologues and Epilogue

Originally published in 1923 as part of the Cambridge Plain Texts series, this volume gathers together a variety of autobiographical extracts from Cervantes' writings. The book is mainly comprised of prologues from the works of Cervantes, together with the epilogue from Viaje del Parnaso. Title pages from works are also included, along with some other passages which mention Cervantes and his writing. The material is presented in the original Spanish with a short editorial introduction in English. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in Cervantes and Spanish literature.
