F-15C Eagle

The purpose of this research effort was to answer the question: Should the USAF add capabilities to the F-15C Eagle which allow it to contribute to present day conflicts? If so, what would be the extent of the upgrades and what would be the impact on its primary mission of air superiority. The 2006 Quadrennial Defense Review, current defense transformation and defense acquisition programs provide the context for the analysis. Additionally, due primarily to budget restraints, the decreased production of F-22 and F-35 aircraft has set the stage for an impending fighter bathtub. These factors all influence the vector of future F-15C upgrades.
