Catalogus Librorum Manuscriptorum Bibliothecae Wigorniensis

First published in 1944, this book presents the content of a 1623 catalogue of manuscripts in Worcester Cathedral library created by Patrick Young (1584-1652), the royal librarian to James I and Charles I. The catalogue, which was rediscovered in 1941, antedated other known catalogues of the library by approximately fifty years. The text is consummately edited, containing extensive notes and a detailed introduction. All catalogue material is in the original Latin with minor amendments where necessary.
