Ambush at Shiprock

Fictional story that engages readers, while educating them in an exciting, entertaining way.  Readers learn little known facts about geckos, bark scorpions, Gila monsters, roadrunners, collard peccaries, rattlesnakes, code talkers, and Chief Joseph.  By intermingling facts with action through the narration of Spoon, a gecko, the readers are informed of the reality, dangers, and precautions regarding human trafficking.
