Academic Vocabulary Accelerator: A Fast-Track to Mastering Essential Words needed for English Academic Purposes is a textbook typically written for university students taking their General English course. However, it could be used by all English language learners at different proficiency levels. This book consists of 27 units. Each unit begins with a text which contains the target words. The mentioned text is then followed by target words defined and introduced through some simple example sentences which clearly illustrate how each new word is used in English. The list of target words is then followed by activities intended to help learners remember and use the new words.
