In doing this, health professionals need a adequate platform of continuing medical education (CME) whose ultimate aim is to supply the society with knowledgeable, skilled and up-to-date cadre of professionals who undertake to maintain and develop their expertise over the course of a lifelong career. This book provides a methodological perspective of CME contribution, which hopefully will support the development of the evidence base for educational activities targeting health service providers in primary care settings.
