Als der Mann sie hart anfaßt, gelingt es ihr trotz Panik in den Wald zu entkommen. Sechs Tage setzt sie die Flucht fort, um von dem suchenden Entführer wegzukommen. Sie schläft voller Ängste im dichten Wald und orientiert sich tagsüber am Stand der Sonne. Sie lebt von letzten Broten und Äpfeln, findet einen Pflaumenbaum, später auch drei Birnbäume an einem Fischteich. Alle Tage gibt es kleine und große Aufregungen: Viele Gedanken an die Eltern, den Bruder Henrik, an die Oma und die Uroma. Angst, Verzweiflung und auch Weinen sind ihre ständigen Begleiter. - Am sechsten Tag entschließt sich Annemarie, ins nächste Dorf zu gehen. Da erkennt sie das Autogeräusch, mit dem ihr Entführer ihr auf diesem Weg entgegenkommt. In Panik flieht sie weiter und folgt einem anderen Weg in das nächste Dorf.
